The sleek, black-finished ARRI FF-4 Basic Follow Focus Unit consists of a single-sided follow focus with one standard knob. This robust, economical unit slides onto a pair of lightweight 15mm rods (rods not included). The FF-4 is designed with a 1:2 knob-to-gear ratio for smooth, accurate focus pulls on a variety of lenses.
A required focus gear is not included with this unit.

The FF-4 features a modular design that is compatible with most ARRI follow focus accessories such as whips, speed cranks, and knob accessories (available separately). One flat marking disk is included with the FF-4 Basic Unit.

Slide-on design for 15mm lightweight support rods; requires BA-2 or BA-3 adapter for use with studio bridge plates
Single-style left (operator) side unit includes one standard knob
A 1:2 gear ratio suits a variety of lenses

Works with both the HD and Cine versions of the FF-4 follow focus, and the FF-3
Thumbscrew-locking adapter snaps onto a pair of 19mm rods (rods not included)
Fastens onto both rods using a single thumbscrew
Can be mounted and removed in the field by the user

Follow focus gear meshes with a lens ring to enable focus adjustments
0.8 mod, 35-tooth, 32 pitch gear with a face width of 10mm
For prime lenses and smaller zoom lenses with standard 32-pitch gear rings

Attaches to the socket on any ARRI follow focus knob
Enables speedy or extended focus pulls with 360° or more of focus knob rotation
L-shaped handle with knob head for comfortable handling
