Less is more when you’re lugging your rig around, so opt for this 12″ Bottom Dovetail Plate from ARRI with a weight-reducing cutout design for balancing your camera setup. This updated dovetail offers a medium travel range suitable for prime lenses, and it sports several features that distinguish it from earlier models.

Safety release buttons are located both at the front and back of the dovetail. The front release is especially helpful when using accessories like lens motors that may hang below the level of the baseplate, preventing an easy backward slide off the dovetail. Two removable stopper screws provide additional security when desired and can be parked on the plate when not in use.

Constructed of a robust aluminum alloy, this dovetail has built-in 3/8″-16 and 1/4″-20 threads for mounting on a tripod or quick release plate.
